It
is not difficult to reach Datça as in the past. Once
upon a time, there were 372 bends between Marmaris and
Datça but not any more. The road is now newly built and
wide enough. Soon after you come to Marmaris, you can
reach to Datça by using midibus that departures at every
hour, in 1,5 hours.
BY ROAD:
The distance between Marmaris - Datca is 72 km,
Datça - Izmir is 350 km. You can reach Datça by using small busses from Marmaris that departures every hours. Many transportation companies have journet to
Datça from Ankara and Istanbul. When you reach the Datça-Knidos
junction, you need to take Knidos way and after 20 km, you can reach to
Palamutbükü. Istanbul-Datça : 860 km, Ankara-Datça: 830km, Bodrum-Datca: 245 km.
BY SEA:
From June to October, ferries are available for caravans, cars and
motorcycles from Bodrum to Datça at 9 a.m and 5 p.m.When you reach the
Datça-Knidos junction, you need to take Knidos way and after 20 km, you can reach to
Palamutbükü.
BY AIR:
you can easily reach to Dalaman
Airport from Istanbul, Ankara or another countries. Dalaman
Airport is 170 km away from the town and transportation
servises are available to Marmaris. And also there are some
flights to Bodrum airtoprt which are in accordance to ferry
schedules. When you reach the Datca-Knidos junction, you need
to take Knidos way and after 20 km, you can reach to Palamutbükü.
